Highland Dames Clinic- Spring 2024

On 2024-04-13

Location: Goldvein Virginia, USA

Even though there's a lot going on, I will host a mini-Dames Clinic with just one coach, Elissa Van Vleck. Elissa is going on ten years competing in the games. In that time she's managed five world records, a world championship among other national championships. She teaches elementary school and trains adults how to increase their effectiveness as teachers and/or instructors. Plus, she's just a good human.

This is a women's only clinic with the objective to increase the chance of women staying in this sport by creating a network based on encouraging oneself and others. This event is limited to 12 registrants.
In order to move things along and use time wisely, this particular event will be directed towards more serious throwers. I ask that those registering will have competed in at least one official games within the last 6 months, is practicing on a regular basis and be informed on the games rules. I plan to host an event in the future all about, or that includes, newer throwers specifically.

This clinic will be structured in a way where throwers focus on footwork and fundamental concepts before putting our hands on implements to then practice what was taught or reviewed.
Location is my home and lunch will be provided. Feel free to bring your own food; you may use the kitchen.

More details will come after registering. It won’t be an automatic type of reply so please have some patience. However, If you don’t, I understand and don’t hesitate to call or text!

Look forward to seeing you!
