🏴 Welcome to the Free State Highland Games!

This is the general athlete registration page.
The Free State Games will take place on October 18th at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Lawrence, Kansas.

🕘 Event Format:

This is a split-day competition: - Session 1: Amateur & Masters Classes
- Session 2: Pro / Elite Classes
All competition will take place in the Outdoor Events Arena.

> ⚠️ Note: Based on the field, you will be throwing from a platform (think Enumclaw style).
> The platform isn’t ideal for hammers but makes up for it with great conditions for stones and weights.

• Open Stone
• Light Weight
• Heavy Hammer
• Caber
• Weight Over Bar
• Jackpot Sheaf (after second session – all classes welcome)

⏳ Time Permitting: Additional events may be added if schedule allows.
